I'm not sure if I want to start up Blankday the way I used to. I definitely want to put out a podcast, but I'm not sure what yet. I have really strong feelings about putting out a children's podcast, but I have to think a lot about it. Maybe it'll be both... who knows?!

Happy Chicken Equality Day!

Let's celebrate the joys of chickenhood with Chicken Equality Day! It's the anniversary of the passing of the seven thousand four hundred and sixty third Amendment, which gave chickens the right to vote. Do not fear chickens, for chickens are our friends! If you have any useless or real facts about chickens, please leave a comment. We'd love to hear it!

One more thing, yes chickens are delicious, but even chickens deserve to be treated humanely. If you agree, please watch this video. But please don't watch it with your kids!! And I know it's weird that there's a big picture of Pamela Anderson below, but apparently she's a huge chicken lover as well.

Happy Button Pushing Day!

Well, I'm here to tell you about button pushing day. It's a day of pushing any kind of button you want. Now we're not limited to buttons like "the big button" that the president pushes to drop the bomb, or the button that releases the doves, this also means computer keyboard buttons, belly buttons and the infamous red button we see all over the internet! Yeah, I know! So today is the day to push buttons twice as hard, twice as long and twice as much! Get fired, get slapped, get crazy America! PUSH, PUSH, PUSH!!

This holiday is in memory of Red Buttons.

My Blankday Promise

I know, I know... everyone uses the same excuse of not having enough time to do stuff. But I swear it's true for me! I work full time, homeschool my kids and I don't have a sound-proof room to record in! But I will start this. This is a promise I am making to myself. I will follow through and find the time. I have so many ideas that I want to give life to. Yes, Blankday will live again! And in stereo ;-)
